Shure MV7 Microphone First Impressions

– Purchased after some difficult experiences with my Blue Yeti Pro condenser microphone
– Wanted a capable USB and XLR microphone

– Purchased it on Amazon for $350 CAD with the tripod stand
– Pop filter does not seem strong enough and is getting some plosives
– The ShurePlus MOTIV software is intuitive and valuable
– Great reviews on Amazon and across the web
– Many people are critical of the MicroUSB which can be delicate
– Overall, I am happy with the purchase and will continue testing the microphone
